Palm Springs
We stayed at Double Tree by Hilton hotels. My sister and I spent most of my time there in the pool. We were happy to go to somewhere with nice weather in November. Several days it even warmed up to over 30 degrees Celsius which is hotter than most summer days at home. Behind us there was a golf course and there was some free putting, so we spent some time there but mainly we stayed in the pool.
The second day we decided to go into to town and see the Palm Springs walk of fame. While we were in town, we decided to get some ice cream at Laperts. Laperts is famous for its many different flavors of ice cream. Out of all these flavours we had to decide on one. We did get to test some flavors and I didn’t find any of them better than the rest, so I just decided on a Dole Whip.
It just so happened that when we were in town there were going to be Christmas Fireworks, so we decided to stay and watch. The fireworks were quite beautiful and added a nice surprise to our day in downtown, Palm Springs. I really enjoyed my experience in Palm Springs and want to go there again.
Restaurants
The first night we went to Loco Charlie’s which is a Mexican restaurant. I had soft shell tacos though they also have hard shell tacos there too. I really liked Loco Charlie’s because we don’t have much Mexican cuisine back at home.
The second day we went to Lulu’s. I had a burger and fries for dinner. Both of my parents had the three-course meal; an appetizer, a main course and dessert. Overall, I really liked the food we had in Palm Springs.
DS has a whole lot of stuff to juggle in life already. In addition to school and homework, he needs to deal with cadets, LOL and social life.
