To make reservations at this sought-after hotspot, use the Disneyland app or book on the website up to 60 days in advance. Reservations at Oga’s Cantina are truly a hot commodity, akin to finding the last remaining lightsaber crystal in the galaxy.
To secure your spot at this popular watering hole at Disney World, you got to set your alarms and be ready to pounce as reservations drop in the early hours, typically around 6 a.m. PT.
For those who prefer a more spontaneous approach, fear not. You can join the Walk-Up List directly from the app while in the vicinity of Galaxy’s Edge, giving you a chance to experience the cantina’s delights on a whim.
To increase your chances of reservation success, keep these tips in mind.
- First, be diligent in checking for reservation availability, as spots can fill up faster than the Millennium Falcon making the Kessel Run.
- Second, remain flexible with your timing and party size, as this can open up more options for securing a slot at the cantina.
- Lastly, remember to cancel or modify your reservation at least two hours in advance to avoid any unwanted charges.
Atmosphere
Step into Oga’s Cantina and transport yourself to a galaxy far, far away. The cantina’s setting is a vibrant blend of other-worldly charm and futuristic vibes, reminiscent of the iconic Mos Eisley Cantina from the original Star Wars film.
The cantina offers a dive bar experience for scoundrels and patrons from the Star Wars universe. The decor includes neon lighting, animatronic droids, and water displays.
In other words, the atmosphere is loud, crowded, and lively, with thumping music and freely flowing alcohol. This is intentional. It’s a place where smugglers, bounty hunters, and traders gather. But keep this in mind when planning your visit, especially if you’re bringing kids.
The circular bar, adorned with tanks and pipes filled with colorful concoctions, sets the stage for an immersive experience. Keep an eye out for the battle scars on the walls, a nod to past skirmishes that have taken place in this lively establishment.
Oga’s Cantina has very few seats. There are a few booths around the edges, but the majority (roughly 90%) of the space is standing room only. Tables are tall/bar height, and every available space is used. You might end up sharing a table with others not in your party. The same applies to the bar, where they often stack people two deep (one in front of the other)
DJ Rex, the cantina’s resident droid DJ, adds to the ambiance with his eclectic tunes and quirky personality. Formerly a pilot on Star Tours, Rex now spins tracks and keeps the energy high with his lively performances.
Guests can groove to the beats and enjoy the playful banter of this endearing droid, adding an extra layer of fun to the cantina experience. The bartenders and servers are in-character, adding to the immersive experience. They might share stories or engage in banter.
Despite its lively atmosphere, Oga’s Cantina remains a family-friendly environment, welcoming guests of all ages to partake in the festivities. While adults can indulge in galactic cocktails and specialty drinks, younger visitors can enjoy a selection of kid-friendly “mocktails” and treats.

Limits
While savoring your galactic concoctions, keep in mind that Oga’s Cantina enforces a time limit of 45 minutes and a two-drink maximum per guest.

Be sure to try the Fuzzy Tauntaun, priced at $18.50, a fan-favorite concoction that comes with a magical foam that tingles your taste buds in the most delightful way. This peach-infused concoction comes with a magical foam that tickles your taste buds.
There’s also Bloody Rancor, priced at $20.50, is a distinctive choice on the menu. People find the flavor profile intriguing and enjoy the thematic connection to the Star Wars universe.
Next there’s also T-16 Skyhopper priced at $18.50 and the Outer Rim – priced at $19.50 are two other very popular choices.
If alcohol isn’t your speed, fear not, as Oga’s Cantina also offers a variety of specialty cocktails without alcohol. Blue Bantha is a non-alcoholic must-try featuring blue milk with a cookie on top, served in a souvenir Bantha mug.
