The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts may still be in full swing, but the excitement is already building for the upcoming EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, set to take place from February 28 through May 27, 2024. And let me tell you, folks, the topiaries are already stealing the show!
If you’ve been strolling through EPCOT recently, you may have noticed some familiar faces popping up in plant form. From Pandas in China to Snow White in Germany, the topiaries are bringing a touch of Disney magic to every corner of the park. And let’s not forget about the Troll in Norway, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Tick Tock Croc in the United Kingdom. It’s like a who’s who of Disney characters, all beautifully crafted out of plants and flowers.
But that’s not all – Woody, Bo Peep, and Her Sheep are making an appearance between Imagination! and The Land Pavilion, adding a playful touch to the festival. And if you’re a fan of butterflies, you’re in luck! The Butterfly Garden is back, along with a new World Nature kiosk for all your nature-loving needs.
Now, let’s talk about the new additions for this year’s festival. Get ready to be wowed by three new topiary displays – Wish at the main entrance, Groot at Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, and Coco at the Mexico pavilion. These larger-than-life creations are sure to be a hit with guests of all ages.
And speaking of new additions, two new merchandise kiosks have popped up in the World Celebration Gardens at EPCOT. While the area was previously open and uncluttered, the arrival of these kiosks adds a touch of Disney magic to the space. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a little Disney merch?
The World Celebration Gardens opened in December 2023, giving guests a taste of what’s to come at EPCOT. While the park isn’t quite wall-free yet, with walls still around Communicore Hall and Plaza, guests can now enjoy the gardens, see the new Walt the Dreamer statue at Dreamers Point, and easily walk between World Nature and World Discovery. It’s all about making the park more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
But let’s get back to the main event – the topiaries! Mickey, Minnie, Chip ‘n’ Dale, and Pluto are holding court on the bridge to World Showcase, welcoming guests with their cheerful faces. And over in World Showcase, the “”Encanto”” characters – Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela, and Luisa – are making their debut in topiary form. These colorful displays are a feast for the eyes and a must-see for any Disney fan.
And let’s not forget about the other topiaries that have already been installed for the festival. From Figment to Lady and the Tramp, Goofy to Snow White, there’s no shortage of Disney magic to be found. And with new topiaries inspired by “”Wish,”” “”Coco,”” and Guardians of the Galaxy on the way, the festival is shaping up to be one for the books.
