New Attractions and Experiences:

Typhoon Lagoon is known for its exhilarating water slides and relaxing lazy river, and the last couple years have brought forth exciting additions to the park. Here are some notable new attractions and experiences to look out for:

Reopening Date:

Typhoon Lagoon is now closed again for refurbishment since November 6, 2023.  It reopened on March 21, 2023, after its refurbishment in November 2022. It is the oldest operating water park in Disney World. At the same time, Blizzard Beach was closed as Typhoon Lagoon prepared to serve guests during the summer.

Upon its reopening, Typhoon Lagoon did not undergo any major renovations or rethemed attractions like the Frozen retheme observed at Blizzard Beach. The park maintained its existing features and attractions.

Miss Adventure Falls

Miss Adventure Falls was highlighted as the newest attraction at Typhoon Lagoon. It is the only ride in both water parks to feature an audio-animatronic element.
