Early Entry Shake-Up
For the past few years, guests staying at Disneyland Resort hotels enjoyed the perk of Early Entry to the theme parks. This meant beating the morning crowd by entering either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure 30 minutes before the official opening. A sweet deal, right? Well, starting January 20th, 2024, things are about to shift.
What’s Changing?
Now, guests with valid park admission and reservations at Disneyland Resort hotels can still enjoy Early Entry, but there’s a twist. Only one park will have Early Entry each day, alternating between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
According to Disneyland’s website, “Guests may take advantage of this 30-minute early entry into a designated theme park for every day of their hotel stay.” This change adds a bit more planning to your Disneyland agenda, similar to Disney World’s approach.
Plan Your Day Wisely
For those not staying at Disney-owned properties, consider the Early Entry days and plan accordingly. Spend the first half of your day at the theme park without Early Entry if it applies to you. You can check Early Entry schedules right here at OFT, online or on the Disneyland app.
